So true. I have yet to find any lime scented cream or soap that challenges the Castle Forbes offering.

I've yet to find a lime scent that's even close to CF...

    However...

I am very curious about the MDC with the citrus scent...just because it's MDC.

I've found the perfect accompaniment to CF lime is to add a few drops of cold pressed lime essential oil to some virgin organic Argan, Jojoba etc oil. Its a fraction of the price of CF aftershave balm and much kinder to your fizzog.

I love SRP's Advanced Search! Using the keyword "Lime", user name "JBHoren", and group "Shave of the Day", I tallied the following results, since my first SOTD entry -- June 17, 2010:

    Shulton (Old Spice): 8
    Castle Forbes: 8
    QED: 8

It's a TIE! In the interest of fairness, I should say that my first two SOTD (lime) shaves on SRP were with QED and CF (in that order, and with only five weeks between them); but it wasn't until a full three years later (8/2013) that I acquired and first used the Shulton (Old Spice) version. Still, my very first SOTD entry that featured a lime shaving soap/cream was on March 28, 2007... on B&B.

They say that every tie has a tie-breaker, so I went the "refrigerator-dairy" route... popped the lids and smelled 'em.

The winner (by a nose... and still going strong, Ten Years After): Castle Forbes

Just did a retake of my soap, I must apologize, I’ve used 3 1/2 tubs. I’ve given away to friends 1 1/2 tubs to

But still it’s lasted forever, but my brain bowl is not touched.

Kinda fitting to put the brain bowl under glass.

And seeing as how you are still a little way from catching me in a foot race Tc I feel emboldened to point out that some on here may disagree with this statement and would say it is, maybe, just a little touched,, hehehe.
