Default I'm really impressed with my La Savonniere du Moulin Donkey Milk Soap

I bought this awhile ago and it kind of got lost in the shuffle of the MANY soaps I have been buying. But lately, this soap has been performing almost
at an MdC level. I'm been using it every couple of days now and getting an incredible lather. Also, not only does heat not bother it, like some soaps, but
the soap seems to like my scuttle. I'm moving this one into the winner's circle!

    I agree!

I got mine the other day, have only taken it for one test ride but it was absolutely fantastic. Very rich creamy lather, exploded in the scuttle, and will after a few more tries, if it keeps the scent and the performance doesn't fade - this has strong potential for a Tier 1 easily....has been one of the nice soaps I've tried recently.

SdM is an unbelievable performer. I tried more soaps than I hate to admit this past year, and this one is far and away my favorite. My only complaint is the jar and the small puck, which I grated into a large tin so that I can easily load my large brushes. I much prefer this soap over MdC, LPL and other top tier soaps. It's easy to produce a rich, luxurious lather, and the post-shave feel is hard to beat.

I agree! Very good soap and one of my favorites. Never did think to grate it into a bigger container, I'll have to do that.

Anybody have a take on that Bullgoose version of this soap, I know it's hard to describe a scent, but just looking for the general idea ?

I've been looking forward all day to a shave with a W&B Anchor and some Donkey soap, mine is from Bullgoose and can't see there being a difference, but the stuff is really quite superb.
