Thanked: 2284Swamp water shaving cream
Wow was I bored. I was sitting on the toilet staring at all my shaving soaps and saw my small box of soap samples with all the ones I really don't care for. There was a bunch of Cattie's bubbles, a few TOBS, and an Edwin Jagger. I got the brilliant idea that mixing all of them together might produce some crazy scent that I actually might like. So I did just that... A little while later, and more creams added than I initially intended, I have a shaving cream that just kinda smells like soap. Funny thing is, I can't really be sure what it smells like cause I'm congested as hell, and can sometimes pick up a smell and sometimes not. I'll just have to wait until my wife gets home from the gym and see what she thinks........ actually, on second thought maybe I wont show her.
Then I decided to add about a tea spoon of all of these too.
The final outcome.
I suppose I better go try it out now. I got an entire TOBS tub full of this stuff. Oh man what did I do.....Burls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....

You know, there are some people who just shouldn't be allowed to get bored or generally have time on their hands...
It's like a super-duper-uber lather!
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Thanked: 4826I think that Ed puts all of his leftover together in one bowl and uses that as his work soap. He works in a remote location and when he is at work scent is irrelevant. You never know you may have just created the perfect soap that you will never be able to repeat. Worst case scenario is you have a new shower soap. I do not bother saving any soaps I am unhappy with, those go straight to the shower.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Thanked: 250Hurrah another soap medley maker. This evening I found a new bar of Jade East shower soap from the 1970's still in its sealed wrapper. It formed the basis for my new concoction. I think I'll name this one "Chase Me Honey" and give it a test shave on Wednesday with a scent test on the cute divorcee bank teller I'm trying to impress.

Yeah I did that and got a cross of Eucalyptus and Arabian Nights meets Lilac from hell
it was a tallow and non binding glycerin muck that after a month.
I sucked it up and pitched it.
