Thread: Do any of you use a specific soap or cream on a given day?

I use a super lather of mixed bag at work, the soap is a big bowl of all my leftovers including hand soap and the cream is the same with the addition of all my remaining lather. Used to shave daily now it is about 4-5 times over 2 weeks. At home I only have a puck of Edwin Jager which is OK but I won't replace when it finds its way to work.

I do like to use a favorite special soap on the weekends, typically MDC, or on occasion, Castle Forbes Lavender. Also use thes two during the week too. So I guess no rhyme or reason, once or twice a week I go to one of my other 3-4 in the order of my fav,s. Tc

Interesting...lately I've been using the same soap for about 10 shaves or all the way through the current rotation. If it's a new one I can get a sense of the water ratio and build rate if I use it day after day.
And if it's a regular - I think I'm making a dent in the multi-year collection....

I use full randomization for my choices.

I rotate between all my soaps, however, I try and make a mental note to use Tabac on Tuesdays. Sometimes I'm successful, generally not.

I use whatever strikes the mood.

Sometimes I decide what soap to use the night before a shave, mostly I just grab one in the morning and lather up.

They used to have a thing around here they called Mentholated Monday I am still carrying on the tradition. Lately it has been Yeti Snot Ultra Mentholated Soap (like a York Peppermint Patty for your face!) Before that it was Dapper Dragon Ice Wyrm Soap. I like to start the week with that face freeze.

I will do that too. I also have Yeti Snot. Other than my eyes watering it is not bad.
