Thread: Do any of you use a specific soap or cream on a given day?

I use Santa Maria Novella on Sunday's and Holy Days of Obligation. Every other day I use a citrus cream or soap.

Although I'm hooked on Citrus, I'm thinking about plugging in MDC on Saturdays.

When going out with my wife, I try to pick a soap and AS with a scent that she likes, generally either Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet or Alvarez Gomez. Generally, I get everything ready for the morning shave the night before, and pick out whatever happens to interest me at the moment.

Got lots of creams but I only use Xpec or Acqua Di Parma.

There is no order to my selection. Sometimes I try to be monogamous with one soap for a couple of weeks and other times I play the field from one day to the next on whatever whim hits me.

Special occasions--With out a doubt is Porter's shave soap from the Porter's Lotion Co. in Montana. Everyday shaves lately have been my soap concoctions, some of which are really good combos.

No, just whatever I feel like using that day.

I usually have around 10 soaps in the rotation and just pick the next one in line.
