MDC nah
I shouldn't complain I suppose but I just feel a bit let down.
Purchased an MDC Fern. My first ever soap.
I only use Xpec or Acqua Di Parma so that's what I'm comparing the MDC to.
Last night I whipped up a lather which took more effort than I'm used to and I was not impressed . It was more like a rich foam compared to my normal rich creams.
Value wise, yeh it looks like it will last a life time where as Acqua Di Parma is day light robbery, it costs a fortune and there is barely an eye full in the tub. Xpec is great value I think, considering its quality and longevity .
MDC is not in the same league as my creams .
Thought I'd share that with you

Thanked: 2591For me foam is generated when I have too much water in the brush and not enough product loaded. Not saying you did that but it is a possibility especially coming off creams where a little product is actually enough.

Thanked: 60YMMV and all that. I've tried all the expensive soaps and non really hold a candle to some inexpensive soaps like Barbus and MonSavon.
