I went with the green a long time. Decent stuff. I got the red Proraso and, IMO, much nicer.
Then there is the Proraso white for sensitive skin. Not nearly as good as the red and green, to me anyway..
Hard to beat Arko for the money, IMO.Last edited by sharptonn; 06-10-2016 at 02:47 PM.

The Proraso Blue is for sensitive skin, very nice stuff, but when I use Proraso, it's Red all the way.
You should try Castle Forbes Lavender - an entirely different league, awesome stuff, the nicest soap next to MdC IMO

I have a red cream love the sandalwood and a white soap which I like as well. I didn't notice much difference irritation wise in the two. I have tried some other soaps and come back to Proraso.

If ure using the green I assume you like the menthol, fresh feeling. One of my absolute favorites is using Taylor of old bond street peppermint with proraso green aftershave splash. The peppermint smells like a clean peppermint which isn't that special but gives that amazing tingle fresh feeling from the peppermint oil unlike any other shaving creams.

Thanked: 18Ok. I settled on d.r. Harris. Can I fit the soap in another container or am I better off getting the bowel?

Whatever you do, don't put the soap puck in a bowel.
You can shred the soap with a cheese grater and press it into a mug or other container. I'm a big fan of the Harris Arlington and Windsor soaps, but I think their bowls are overpriced.
