Oh man I thought you were kidding! I use that stuff to intentionally dry the heck out of my skin when I get poison ivy badly, I couldn't imagine shaving with it!
To each his own but sheesh I really suggest not even trying this one just for kicks!

I wasn't thinking about what it would do to skin...
I was thinking more along the line of what it would do to the whiskers to dry them out and make them more brittle.

Yeah, we use Fels-Naptha up here in the north country for poison ivy and mosquito bites, works well for that - I would recommend not using it for shaving...HOWEVER,
whats it gonna do? kill you?

report back (if you are able) with how it works if and when you give it whip

    State v. Durham, 323 N.W. 2d 243, 245 (Iowa 1982) (holding that a straight razor is per se a "dangerous weapon").

Making the whiskers stiff and brittle ain't what you want. Tc

It might be hard to work up a lather with that and it might dissolve the brush, your beard and parts of your face. Report back if you can type through the pain.......lol

I've mentioned many times, in these parts us poor folk have to make do. Cousin Festus just uses the old oil he drains out of the crankcase of his Ford Ranchero after running it through some cheesecloth. He says the contaminants soften his whiskers and and he gets great lube. Also the trace elements give his skin a real "glow".
