    Question Using lots of soaps?

I'm pretty new to wet and straight shaving and the thread about favorite soaps and creams got me to wondering: How do you guys who like different soaps and scents use multiple soaps? Do you finish one and then go on to a next favorite? Do you have multiple soap mugs? Do you store your soaps outside of your mug and put in the one you feel like using on any given day? Or is it some other method I cant think of?

I store my soap in small ziplock bowls, in fact i just leave them in there. After soaking my brush and shaking out a lot of the water i "load" my brush with soap, about 10 swirls on the puck mixed with 4 or 5 pumps up and down. then i take the brush to the bowl i make lather in add a little water and swirl away to a glorious bowl of fragrent lush lather.
after the shave i normally set the lid on the bowl of soap, loose so it can dry, and the next day i seal it. This method works for me, YMMV.
    Be just and fear not.

+1, Mama Bear, QED and quite a few other soaps come with a storage bowl, I also use the ziplocs like Jim mentioned above they work great. I usually don't worry about my soaps drying though...

I have one mug. I fill it and use it until it's empty, then fill it again.

For variety or special occasions, I switch to a cream.

I started out with Williams soap, then began to try other soaps. I was unwilling to through out a good puck of william's soap so I bought other mugs. Now I have a cupboard with about 5 kinds of soaps. I really shoulda just used one soap and one mug at a time but I can't help it, they all smell so good!

    Default Me too

+2, with Sys - have 15+ soaps, MB, GQ, C&E, etc...I use the ziplocks, both screw on and snap lid (depending on puck size), and MB's come in their own containers.

I have about 6 soaps, and 6 creams that I usually rotate throughout each morning. I recently tried out Colleen's soaps at TQG and they are fantastic....I think my soap/cream count is about to go up again.

The creams I store in their original containers and the soaps I melt down into these great little bowls which fit very nicely into the palm of your hand... check out my SOTD pic today if you'd like to see the size.

Each soap has it's own container in my house. What I use depends on my mood. As a matter of fact I've yet to use one soap untill it was gone.

I've got a wide variety of soaps and creams. I lather on my face instead of a mug so I just store them in the containers I received them. I use whatever I feel like using on a given morning.... or evening...or whenever.
