Agree with Phrank's takes on their Vetyver and Rose. Their Rose is the antithesis of T&H's Rose--I couldn't stand the T&H and binned it after a couple of goes (glutton for punishment or eternal optimist...thought it would get better...not). MdC's Rose is lovely! When I saw their Citrus ("Agrumeson"), couldn't resist the SAD--sound like it'll be a nice scent for this summer.

I don't use MdC for their scents. I don't consider their soap makers to be experts in the scent department. There are far better lavender, fougère, vetiver, and rose scents, in my opinion. But I'll take outstanding performance and a tier 2 scent any day, just as I do with Castle Forbes creams. Unfortunately, some of my favorite scented soaps are only tier two performance wise, but I still enjoy using them. If I consider a soap tier 2 in both departments, it goes out with the cat litter.

I have avoided Rose scented products but maybe I will try this one day.

A 5 pack of various MdC soaps heading to Ontario for distribution across this continent to a few friends.
Fougere, Agrumeson, and original scented en route! On the email notification list for rose.

    Think you qualify.
Is there some level of beer consumption that would qualify me to skip the hockey? I'm big fan of beer.

Back in the late 70's we had a hockey team. Even a few Howes were on-board.
I worked with a bunch of transplants from up-north and we went every chance we got.

As a non drinking, non hockey watching guy I am in fear of loosing my citizenship!
However the non beer consuming part is due to having already consumed my quota.

The qualifier is being able to choose 5% or stronger, based on the chance of it freezing before you get it out if the trunk of the car..

Used to drink Brador, a 7.9 % brew in college in North bay as it was the only one that wouldn't freeze before lunch in the winter..

They are the Original or unscented soap in different style bowls....no different soap types.
