I inherited an old driperator coffeemaker and used it on a Coleman stove a while back, not knowing how to use it properly.
They said it was like bong water! Finally figured it out!

Compared to the Original, Fougere and Rose, which are all fantastic soaps to use, but on the lighter side if I can use that expression, the Vetyver is on the other side of the block - deep, robust, wintry, and for me, a definite keeper.

Can only hope they don't discontinue these and leave them as a Limited Edition, the Rose and Vetyver are soaps I'd order again without a doubt.
Ya know....MDC recommends leaving the lid off....Just saying.
    Glad it settled-down. Sounds great!

Nah, not me, 40 years ago I was a 'zig zag' man, but was done with it for good by the time all that high falutin stuff came along.

Yup, after getting over the shock of expecting something very different and two more shaves, the Vetyver is growing on me too.....And indeed the stronger-scented (for me) Fougère with its fewer notes is sliding down my MDC list (although I still like it a lot ).

Yes, I had a shave last night with the Fougere to kind of baseline things again, and had to laugh, Fougere reaffirmed itself as a superb, Tier One soap all the way, if anything, I learned to appreciate the Fougere even more now. Sheesh, MdC really hit it out of the park on this one, got nothing but 'net, and as I feared, with 4 different MdC soaps to choose from, I haven't shaved with any other soap now in over a week, and with four to rotate through, not much need to.

This may be devastating to my SAD......

You need the Unscented too, for use with your more expensive colognes

Your posts are killing me....I have Vetyver and Rose wrapped and under the tree and I'm fighting the urge to use them after reading your impressions. At least I didn't have to sneak them into the house without my wife knowing, as I usually do with new soaps or razors.
