    Default cremo shave cream

I recently heard about the Cremo concentrated shave creme and decided to give it a try. Doesn't lather up a lot but it is supposed to enable you to shave numerous times just by adding a little more water to your face. I didn't find it to be overly efficient and found it to be a better pre-shave. I then tried their shave cream in a tub and the creme is amazing. It is by far the slickest creme or soap I have used and I've used most. It doesn't give you a lot of lather like TOBS but it is more then enough. I usually use a pre shave but decided to try this without it. Amazing how smooth my straight razor glided over my face. 3 passes and no irritation and I have a course beard and sensitive skin. The Sandlewood is pleasant but not overwhelming. It stays the whole shave. If you have problems with soap or creme drying out, all you need to do is add a little water to your face and it stays nice and slick. Washes up easily and the real test was when I used my alum bloc, no pain. Can't beat the price at about $7 a tub.

Ive mixed Cremo with soaps that don't lather well like Williams Mug, and the results are a thick creamy lather that lasts. I've also used VDH Shave Butter this way with excellent results as well.

So don't underestimate using it to enhance poor lathering soaps, it creates the body that's missing from these soaps. JMHO.

Cremo is a shave cream in my rotation as well. Always a nice glide to it and thick lather as well. Good stuff

I use Cremo by putting about a teaspoon of the cream and a teaspoon of hot water in a shaving bowl and then lathering with a badger brush. I think it is really designed to be a brushless shave cream, but I never liked using it that way.

Yep, Cremo is pretty good stuff and great for the price. I like the "cooling" version in the summer months or anytime to soothe an irritated beard. +1 on adding a little to soaps that don't want to lather well.

Cremo on it's own is a no go for me. Combined with another soap/cream is another matter altogether, makes for a great lather.

I am new here but I must agree Cremo is great for the price. My 18 year old was running around looking like Shaggy I gave him brush and bowl with tube of Cremo. He likes it so much I was even able to get him started on de razor. Great when you find something your teen agrees with you on

I've been using the Cremo for a few years and really like the cooling version. I am able to use it with a brush and bowl. The original doesn't seem to work well with a brush. I didn't even know they have a Sandalwood version or that you can get it in tubs. I'll have to look for it next time I go to Target.

I don't care for it by itself (tube, I haven't tried the new cream in the tub), but it's an awesome additive for poorer performing soaps and creams.
