In my opinion, his soap is up there in that top tier where there's minute differences between products.
You say, " . . . even though he gets a ton of hate because of the limited supply." Members venting frustration with this soap maker's limited supply does not translate into the gentleman receiving a "ton of hate."

I have never tried this soap and cannot offer an opinion on it. If you, however, feel it is a top tier soap, you are welcome to your opinion and no one here will argue with you.

I never said it was here..? There really are people on other forums (should have added that to begin with to avoid confusion I guess. Sorry!) that go to pieces over the little things like not being able to buy a razor or soap or even not liking the scent of a soap.

Anyway, I was trying to offer some insight into why it's so limited and as far as my opinion goes, I have no interest in pressing or arguing it. I only voiced it in the off-chance that someone might decide it's worth pursuing instead of blowing it off as a gimmick or inferior to everything else, etc.

As best I can tell, the primary issue driving its popularity is its lack of availability. People want what they can't get.

I've shaved with it before. While it was good there are many excellent soaps that are readily available.
