Yea, that shipping is a problem for sure.

+1 to what Bob has said. I have some favorite soaps that are all based on one thing. How does my face fare at the end of the shave. Dried out and irritated? Off you go. Arko has always provided me with a great shave as has Palmolive shave sticks, MWF, tabac(love the smell), Williams mug, and a VERY FEW “artisan” soaps. Scent is secondary. Cella is my all time favorite scent and it’s a great soap that lathers very easily but I don’t like the after feel so I can’t use it. MDC is another that just doesn’t make my list due to the way my face/neck feel afterwards. It is a great soap and many absolutely LOVE it and rarely use anything else. It is all very subjective. Arko, IMO, is an underrated classic that does what it is supposed to. For me that is. Guess what tomorrow’s shave will be with? You guessed it-Arko.

Well, after all that I guess I'll have to give "Arko" a try. there are so many out there to try, judging from the price you would believe that Arko is your bottom rung , bargain basement kind of product. but after all the praise I guess Ill have to give it a try. Although it doesn't have much in the scent department, for performance, I haven't found much that beats Mitchell's wool fat ! A puck seems to last forever!
    Stay Sharp!

My favorite-MWF and I love the scent. There’s that subjective thing again.
