    So much goodness....
Sharptonn, I was thinking about this, and remembered I had gotten something from MdC that I thought he called an 'ice cream' bowl. Actually, he calls it "Le Beurrier", and it's sitting next to my wooden bowl MdC in the picture below. When I went to his site, I saw that he has a product called 'ice cream', and it looks like some soap in a glass goblet that has the words 'ice cream' on it. Clever

I don't like 'brain bowl-too anatomical-and 'Le Bol en Bois'-the wooden bowl-and MdC's name for it seems too prosaic. I agree with you that it deserves a better name!

    Good to learn that, Michael!
I try not to look at their site too much....I think I have a lifetime supply!
I feel that Wooden Bowl is much nicer than a brain bowl anyway!

Looks like the 'ice cream' is 90 grams....
I don't think a goblet. Sitting on a mirror does it. A bowl.

Versus the wooden bowl which is 200 grams.

It would be cool to have the ice cream bowl loaded-up like the wooden one!
    Home-Run!

I thought of it first! Gonna present my idea to them.
Perhaps I shall be rewarded with one?

I ordered The Original today. I had to try it. I've been a Straight Razor Shaver since 1983 and never dreamed I'd pay $65.00 for soap but, I'll probably rotate it with some Harris and it will last a very long time I hope. Should be a good marriage for my Thater 4125/4 Brush!

If I like it I'll probably go ahead an order the other scent.

itll last a long time anyway, whatever how many swirls you do with your regular soap do half with the MDC, I do at the most 8 swirls, and I still put lather down the drain,, I,m an every day shaver who has gotten over a year and 3 months out of a jar.. so compare that to a 20$ soap that only last me 3-4 months. you will like what it does to your skin also. Thank YOU! That is what I want to hear. I will probably order it in the other scent. I ordered original.

I actually give my wife credit for me placing the order. I was griping about the price etc and trying to justify it by saying everyone says it lasts a long time and she said ya know to heck with all that, you can afford $65.00 and if you enjoy it then it’s worth it.

I doubt that you'll be complaining about the price when you've finished it off. When you do, give me a call at the old folks home....

    Cheers, Steve

I'm really looking forward to trying it. If lathers as easy as what I am hearing from others it should do great for me new Thater 4125/4 B brush. And If I like it I'll order the other scent. I have about 14 soaps and creams right now so I don't know what I'll do with those. I can get rid of the creams (I have three, 2-TOBS and 1-Trumper) because I really am a soap guy. Its a 30 plus year thing with me.
    Thanks Steve
