    Default Battle of the Titans

I was about to start shaving this morning and as I was trying to decide from the plethora of choices I heard this feeble voice with this french accent say pick me. About a second later I hear this stout scot accent say pick me you don't want him he's got ground up frogs in him. The other voice said he got all kinds of terrible ingredients, you don't wanna know about.

So I told them, tell you what, I'll pick both of you and let you battle it out.

So one side of my face with MDC and the other with Castle Forbes.

Well, both exploded with lather almost instantly and you should have heard the two of them going back and forth insulting each other. I told them you better stop or I'm gonna have Vladimir whatshisname come and take care of you both.

I told MDC I seemed to remember more scent and more cushion and he said well what do you expect you leave me with a bag over my head for 5 years or more and expect me to be fresh as new? The other guy laughed and said we Scots don't lose nothing even after 100 years and he was right. It was just as I remembered all those great level A qualities in spades. The MDC really had deteriorated in scent and cushion.

I told them, to tell you the truth I always preferred Castle Forbes to MDC and thought it bested it in every department. MDC seemed dejected and said "you gonna be sorry yank" he was gonna have Obie come over and put some of that Russian Gas in my face. The Castle said not to worry. Like Dien Ben Phu that French guy is too scared to do anything besides he's so weak......well. MDC said I better not see no "Fake news" about this on that shaving site. I said keep politics out of this. Your nationalities have nothing to do with this.

So I put the bag back on MDC and said "see you in a few years dude". Now the "Castle" has a front and center position in my soap rotation.

He said I'll always treat you right.

I have some Castle Forbes and MdC that are 4 years old.

They are both about half gone.

The CF is out performing the MdC.

    Gentlemen,

Castle Forbes shave cream, for me, sets the benchmark by which I judge all creams, as well as soaps, including Martin de Candre. Castle Forbes shave creams, pre-shave and aftershave balms have no equals.

If I had to pick a winner in this heavyweight battle it would be easy for me.

Castle & Forbes wins every time.

It's purely a coincidence that I used it this morning.

I love my MDC and have no interest in my CF but listening to you guys I should dig them out and give them more of a chance.
I have the Sandalwood and the Lime but they both smell a bit wrong to me.

Either way, next shave CF will have a chance at redemption

    I love them both!

My little voice told me I was foolish to not use both.

Castle & Forbes and MDC are pretty much tied performance wise in my book.
What puts Castle & Forbes on top, for me, are the scents.
