If you’re in the EU you’ll be paying VAT, 17% I believe, which will more than offset international shipping on a medium to large order. And if you do a larger order the international shipping is discounted at least some.

Gents. Check this site out. Free shipping from UK. Prices are with VAT but once you put your US address they take it out. Fougere was 37GBP (47USD shipped). I think that's a pretty good deal. Mine is on it's way to Minnesota.

Thanked: 171Not sure where you got the “more than offset” from.
Having done an actual comparison, the costs for my purchase incl. shipping would have been:
- to a destination in Europe: €112.04 incl. the 20% (not 17% as you stated) French VAT applicable within the EU,
- to British Columbia: €119.97,
- to Washington State: €118.26.
The last two figures do not include applicable import duties or processing fees for Customs.

I figure it is like sitting and talking about the price of gasoline....
Either way, you got to buy it.
Get your best deal. Conserve it, enjoy it. Take a little trip.
YMMV

no it doesnt cost that in washington state USA. i,m in Tn but its the same to all of us, so not real sure where you got your numbers, check that adding machine. ive been buying MDC for 4 years and in the states he ships it for around 68$, i, myself always get it for around 60. cause i get 2 jars at a time so the shipping is spread out over 2 jars.
118 euros or dollars, not accurate.last order was 3 months ago, never have been charged any import or custom fees. now that is the real numbers“ I,m getting the impression that everyone thinks I have TIME to fix their bikes”

No need to check my calculator, as Martin de Candre did the three quotes (incl. shipping) for me for 2 x “SHAVING SOAP - VÉTYVER - LIMITED EDITION”, which is a more expensive soap than the regular stuff. (2 x 200 g Fougere to the US would be €101.29.)
I did however add the applicable taxes (GST and PST for Canada, and local sales tax for Lynnwood, WA) from the official websites, but no import duties, none of which you had to pay if the parcel would get waved through, which in Canada would be highly unlikely as all imported goods above C$20 are taxable.
