    Default Proraso acquired Valobra

    Proraso acquired Valobra.
I hope they will preserve Valobra's shaving soaps line. I so much prefer Valobra's hard triple-milled tallow-based soaps over Proraso.

I like their soap too, so I’m with you, I hope it stays the same.

Valobra also makes Czech & Speake soaps, some of the best available.

Then lets hope that we can buy Valobra soaps at Shoppers Drug Mart, they carry Proraso, in the not too distant future. I won't hold my hand over my backside waiting for that to happen though.

Bob, like a song heard on the radio that stays in your head all day, an image of you standing in line at Shoppers Drug Mart in that pose will be in my head all day....and I've never seen your backside

Yep. I have both C&S's O&C and Valobra's Fougere - they look and perform absolutely the same, only the fragrance is different.
I think they also used to made AOS's old tallow-based formula, that was an excellent shaving soap too.

Better than Proraso must be pretty darned good stuff. Proraso green is the standard by which I compare shave soaps. Now I have to keep my eyes out.
