MDC is at the apex of soaps. Just a handful of soaps out there like these. They lather instantly and have great cushion and lube and last a long time. They also smell great and leave your face feeling great. Every quality a soap should have these have in spades.

I have sensitivities to smell due to neurological origins / migraines.
So I only choose soaps with little to no smell.

So far MdC Neutral without fragrance is really awesome for me.

Has anyone tried Haslinger soaps? I'm looking at their Sensitive without fragrance as well, they don't have Lanolin, but the Aloe should do good things as well.
I am also very curious in the Haslinger's sheep milk soap that does contain Lanolin, it does contain some perfume, but I was told they don't smell that much.

I ordered a few MdC Neutral 200g jars as back ups, but am curious about Haslinger Sensitive and their Sheep milk.

I stick with soaps with mild scents because big scents tend to irritate or give my skin a burn. I did try Haslingers Sheeps Milk but I wasn't impressed. However their Honig (Honey) is fantastic. It has a very mild scent and gives a lovely creamy slick lather. It actually makes my skin feel good. I will always have it in the den.

I've used Haslinger in the past. Some are pretty good and some are terrible. I don't recall which were the good ones.

An unscented soap that I really like is Stirling Unscented Beeswax. It uses beeswax in place of lanolin and I was surprised at how good this soap is. I know some light scented creams with lanolin, but this is the only unscented one that I have found that the soap was also good (though I admit to not having tried them all).

Sadly, the excellent La Toja Sensitive shaving cream is no longer being made, as of a short time ago. It was lightly scented, like clean soap.

There are some really good lanolin soaps out there. Shannon's Soaps uses lanolin. The inexpensive Vi-John uses lanolin. I prefer tallow + lanolin in my shaving soaps, and at least lanolin.

True, I was very impressed by the ease of shaving, protection and slickness and the closeness of my shave with MdC, absolutely top notch. MWF is a bit more moisturising post shave for me, but it doesn't shave as good as MdC. MdC is amazing, my personal favourite.

Have you tried baume.be? I don’t suffer from any skin issues or scent allergies, but I prefer shaving with a soap or cream or croap that does not leave a lasting strong scent. Baume.be produces a slick lather with a very pleasant non-lingering scent and leaves a very nice skin feeling after the shave.

Baum is top notch stuff just a baby step behind the leaders. Some don't care for the very mild scent. It has been a favorite for those not wanting scent in a soap as long as you like the kind of strange scent it has.

I used the cream many years ago; but can't seem to find the soap in stock atm
Thanks for suggesting, will try it when I can!

I did order one of those soaps in the wooden bowl by MdC, I must admit they look pretty sweet.
