Good mustache/beard wax and brush??
I have a goatee that has a number of stubborn hairs. I have been wanting to try a mustache wax along with a nice brush to see if I could get it completely tame without any hairs looking to out of place. My hair pretty much does what it wants, so a good thick brush would probably do me good, but I cant find anything. Those fine tooth beard combs just dont do anything for me.
Any ideas?

Well i usually find that a shavemac brush and some nice lather, like say from one of Colleen's soap followed by any straight razor that is sharp does the trick. after 2 or 3 passes not a single hair will be out of place.
Be just and fear not.

I make a moustache wax by melting bee's wax and mixing in vasseline. I make the mixture more or less stiff depending on the season, stiffer in the summer, softer in winter. 50/50 gives a pretty stiff mix, I think. Might have to be worked in with a hair dryer.
This is not a water soluable wax like most commercial waxes. Found the receipt on the English Handlebar club's web site.
I made my own comb from horn.
Happy experementing when your arm gets better.
