I can echo what Topher says about the cream being a touch difficult. But honestly, it's worth the time if you ask me. I got a sampler from Colleen, and despite the little issues I've had building lather with the cream, I refuse to try the soap until the cream is gone because I love the scent so much!

I'm going to put in a full order in the near future, but I gotta try all the other scents first! So far, Oak Moss is by far the winner in my book.

I'm posting again to echo what the title of this thread says. The soaps are amazing. Insanely forgiving (my first lather with a soap) and the lather just never went away. A couple drops of water before my THIRD lather, and I was still generating new stuff. It was awesome.

And a little love for her Highlander scent. It's not quite as strong as the Oak Moss (still my favorite), but it has a very recognizable scent. I really like it, and I'm already trying to figure out what the next scent I want to try from my sampler will be!

Look out Colleen...another order is coming your way soon!

I haven't had the pleasure of using Colleen's soaps yet, but there's some on it's way to my soldiers and me here in Afghanistan. It should be arriving any day now. If her soaps are half the quality of her service, or a fraction as pleasant as she is, I'm sure we'll be thoroughly pleased.

And I sent my wife some of her bath soaps...she was thrilled with them!

Just judging by my correspondence with Colleen, she's got several loyal customers for years to come!

I absolutely LOVE Colleen's creams. I have a problem though, I dont think I'll be able to place an order without buying more Leatherneck. That stuff is outstanding. Not to mention the puck of it I have yet to open, its just too handsome to open. So I cant speak intelligenty on the soaps yet, Have to get a spare...

I had my first straight razor shape last night using some Cavendish Black. I've been using Van Der Hagen and Williams for years with my cartridge razors, and never could get the lather right (if I lathered my whole face, about 30 seconds later you wouldn't tell it). I was also using a Van Der Hagen boar brush. Now have a ShaveMac from the Topher Newbie kit, and the TGQ soap, and the lather worked MUCH better.

My shaving and stropping technique still needs some work though!

I haven't used Colleen's soaps yet but I'm determined to place an order within the next 24 hours (Sampler Set ) . I need to order a better brush because all I currently have is a boar hair brush. I have a friend who is interested in trying shave soap so I'm going to try to generate some more business for the infamous Colleen.
