Default The Body Shop shaving cream

Does anybody know what smell this is? It doesn't say on the can. I can't describe it as anything other than "my grandfather's shaving scent", so I'm guessing it's a classic. Could it be sandalwood?

Either way, I find myself craving the smell as I write this. Strange and scary stuff, this wetshaving.

I've heard it described as shoe polish. . . hahaha. I can see that. I've always thought that it smelled like a natural foods store. . . or vitamins. . . or something. It is supposed to be a sandalwood scent I think .. .

Oh, definitely. The Body Shop shave cream is great. . . just as good as the 'high end' stuff, IMO. Great bang for your buck at $13 a tub!

I think it might be unscented, To me te smell is natural to the oils. But I have not checked the ingrident list. As for the cream It builds lather like nobodys buisness but I think it lacks in lubercation. It is not nearly as good as some of the higher priced benchmark creams, even in the price range I feel you could get better for the price. IMHO

I heard someone describe it as a Frankinsence type scent...but since I've not used it myself (yet) I can't say whether I agree.

I'd call it sandalwood and incense.
