Thanked: 101Shaved twice with the Williams............Don't really like it as much as the Van DerHagen. I got the Williams because the Bx was all out of VDH. I think I'm the only one on my base that buys it. I bought the last cake of it about a month ago and they seemed to be out forever. Now I go in the other day and they have a whole shelf full!!!! Including about 12 brushes! They had no brushes and one cake of soap a few months ago. I wonder if my purchases made the computer "think" there was a demand for it?

Thanked: 101Final Assessment
I now have 2 cakes of Williams soap in my bathroom trashcan. That stuff is sticky, hard to make a lather with, rinses slowly off blade and face. I also found the blade to drag nastily across my face. Needless to say I have resorted to the half puck of VDH I had in my mug. I will get more at the BX tomorrow. They have a bunch. The VDH lathers well. It also allows the blade to slide nicely across the dermis.

I bought the Williams out of curiosity for $.97 in Hannaford. It is cheap but for me the experiment is over and I am going back to the Maca root cream. I dislike the smell of Williams lather, big way. Its lather was rather sticky for me, too.

Thanked: 21Been using Williams at least four times a week or more for about two months now, and believe me, I have plenty of other soaps around I could go to if I wanted to, including Valobra, Mitchell's, Harris, and some others. I like the stuff-- no glycerin, no extra work, just soap up and use it.
