I have Col. Conk Almond. Very good scent and covers well. Haven't tried the Amber or Bay Rum.

Thanked: 953I think Col Conk is ok but it's just not as good as so many others, so why use it. Even just among the "glycerine" soaps, I think QED, HBS, and MB are much much better and not all that much more expensive. And the milled soaps like MWF and GFT and DRH etc. are much much better. So it works, it doesn't stink, but you can do so much better that I would just skip it and go straight to the good stuff.

I have a few bowls of Conk soap, the almond and the bayrum. Very nice soap. Not necessarily the best one out there, but it lathers well and lubricates well, so I'd say you are just fine using it.
