    1: soak the lather bowl and brush in hot water.( at least for 5 minutes)
    2: Remove bowl and brush from sink.Emty bowl, and shake brush as dry as possible.
    3: put brush in cream tub and swirl it around a few times, you don't need alot of cream.
    4: put brush in bowl and add 3-4 teaspoons of hot water.
    5: swirl brush until you get a really thick and rich lather(about 2 min.)depending of brush

    This method works great for me.I have tried it with several different creams.

    I think a tub of cream won't last as long as a puck of soap, either.
