Default How do you use cream

I got the shave soap in bowl and make a lather right on the soap in the bowl which gets messy because the lather rolls out of the bowl because I guess my wisking with the brush is sloppy but I want to try out some cream but when I do I waste the **** using too much water and cream. I need guidance.

Here is a tutorial to make a basic soap lather.

Take that three finger grip and hold it to prevent messing around the lather.

With creams it's even easier because you just press the tube and get the right amount of cream. If you have a puck of cream just take the cream with your brush or finger.

One way of getting good lather with cream is to wet the brush and then open it up and put the dollop of cream in the middle, and then start lathering.

With the Kiss My Face pump applicator one pump seems to be the right amount directly on the brush.

There might be some spelling mistakes but don't take them too seriously. We will correct them later.

I load the brush with either soap or cream and lather directly on my face. No bowl necessary. I also feel this really works the lather into my beard well. Try some different methods and see what works for you.

Maybe your bowl is just to small for you until you get the hang of it. Actually it sounds like you'd do OK with one of Don and Lynn's new large bowls. The other guys are correct, +1 on the Almond size dollop of shave cream. You can buy a little tiny spoon in Target in the silverware aisle, I forget what their called, Utopian on here knows. You can also use a bowl from the house for now so you'll have more room to produce Uberlather. Maybe a smaller controlled mixing motion. I used to use small desert bowls, glass or cermaic. They work too ! Enjoy.....Rich
