Default ogallala bay rum shave soap

I bought this some time back, used it liked it put it away.

pulled it out this morning, and it was AWESOME. I think it hardened a tiny bit sitting in my cold closet and improved as a result. It's shea and glycerine, smells great, really nice close shave. And it costs about five bucks to boot.

yeah, their soap is a real bargain, it's cheap and it lathers and shaves very well.

The Ogallala Bay Rum shave soap is just about the slickest soap I've ever used, with pretty good lather.

I haven't used Ogallala soap since I switched from DE to a straight, I tend to favor non-glycerin soaps. But I've noticed that slickness/glide is an even more valuable soap trait with straight shaving than DE shaving, so I may have to pick the Ogallala back up again. Can't beat the price for the quality. Right now, I'm using mostly Provence Sante' or MWF, precisely because they are so slick. Slicker'n cat scat on a linoleum floor!

Make sure you have the latest ogallala shave soap formulation. He changed the ingredients (added shea for example) just before I bought. I think the old version wasn't nearly as good. The new version give incredible creamy lather VERY easily.

Better IMO, and it moisturizes your skin great, I am partial to the Sage and Cedar.

I have a stick of this. I love it. I usually follow up with T.O.B.S. bay rum splash. It's one of my favorite scents.
