The Cade Soap is really a high quality shaving soap - I've had some dry skin problems with other soaps and I find the Cade soap to be just as moisturising than any good cream. It smells fantastic too, really a unique fragrance.
I can whip it up into a really nice perfectly rich lather with very little effort, and I've been using it quite liberally for about 2 months now, and really it looks like I haven't even touched it yet.. definately buy one - buy a few

Yes it rocks for a cream. But don't forget, it should, it is very very expensive.

There are many other creams out there which for significantly less will give an equally good performance. For example, "NancyBoy".

Cade is good soap by the way.

I haven't tried a soap but it will be in the shopping list in the future.
Cade cream is in my rotation and it is not so bad product at all. The scent is fresh and clean and nicely different comparing to typical limes and sandalwood scents.
Lathering is a little bit tricky and it is not so creamy than most english creams. I have more or less oily skin and it doesn't bother me at all....
The lather needs precise amount of water than other creams. not too much or too little and what I have read hard water might cause some troubles too.
Soft water in here so no big worries...again

Institut Karité Extra Gentle Shaving Soap tops my list during our cold snaps, followed up with the IK balm. IK gets me through the -45 degree weeks.

Ok ok, I suppose I have to bite the bullet and
make the appointment at your shop. I have to
admit that the IK products have been catching
my eye for quite a while now...

I'm hoping there's no need to prepare for a cold snap!
