L'Occitane
Hi, I'm thinking of buying some L'Occitane shaving soap, I know it isn't the most traditional thing in the world but I'm hoping it will be a lot better than the stuff in a can I use at the moment! Does anyone have any experiences/comments on the soap or should I just go for it?
Thanks Blastbar =]

Thanked: 1L'Occitane en Provence shaving soap
Better than that stuff in a can? Oi!
... does a bear make poo where you might have thought?
... does the Pope belong to the denomination that he heads?
... is a duck's heinie possessed of the correct sealant properties?
Speaking as a satisfied user of the product, I'd have to say, um, yes.

Thanked: 953CADE is an excellent shaving soap (but they make a TERRIBLE shaving cream, so stay away from that).

Thanked: 4942I liked the CADE as well. It was a nice aroma, lather and had good lubrication. The Castle Forbes cream is still my favorite when it comes to suds and lubrication though.
Have fun,
Lynn

I think it's a good solid soap, but I more often reach for the classics - Floris, Trumper, Harris, etc. That's just me.

I have some, but it doesn't get used too often. My skin is pretty easily dried out in the winter, and I get better moisturizing with other products. I sure do like the way it smells though. I'd say get some... I know a fella who's had the same puck for 5 years. It lasts.

thank you all it's definitely on my birthday wish list if I can't resist getting some sooner I can see this isn't going to be the cheapest of hobbies when I get into it some more, but I'd much rather enjoy the experience than spend £10 every month and a half on those cartridges *shivers at the thought*
Thank you all again
