    Default Uberlather and mixing scents

So I picked up some glycerin and have mixed some great lathers. I have some unscented soaps that mix well with a scented cream...but I'd like to mix some of my scented soaps into the mix. That means I'll mix a scented soap with a differently scented cream. "So what?", you ask...and I agree. But since you're here, whatya think?

    Thanks,
    Jim

I do it all the time. My favorite is to mix some proraso cream (menthol) with some of my homemade cinnamon/clove soap... fire and ice!

I like mixing unscented AOS soap with KMF scented creams. But there is probably an unscented KMF cream that would work great with any scented soap.

But I love mitchells woolfat plus musgo real.

And I'm not at all averse to mixing say AOS lemon soap and JMFrasur or things like that.

Sometimes I mix complimentary scents, sometimes I match scents as close as possible and other times I use an unscented cream with a scented soap...

Sometimes though you can get a great scent and a so-so lather out of a mix, those I don't mix again

I do it all the time as well. I do find that if I use Tabac, the scent of it is so strong that it overpowers anything I've put with it so far. Not really a big deal since I like the smell of Tabac.

that's very interesting, I've actually found the opposite to be true, but I suppose it depends on how strong the scent of your soap is.

Are you combining Tabac CREAM with some other soap, or Tabac SOAP with some other cream? I'm using Tabac soap and combining it with a cream. Maybe the creams I'm using are just not that strong. I do know when I use Tabac with anything and smell my brush, say, 12 hour later, it is the Tabac that I smell.

BTW, I know everyone says it, but thanks for your great videos.

The "old" formulation Body Shop cream works well when mixing. I believe you can still find it at some locations if you ask. As was mentioned previously, KMF Unscented works very well with scented soaps and is relatively cheap and easy to find at a Whole Foods or other organic grocery stores.

    Enjoy

I'm with Joe on this one. KMF unscented cream works well with just about any soap. KMF also has a Vanilla Earth which is outstanding on it's own and also Peaches and Cream. These both are lightly scented and work well combining their scents with other soaps.
