Question Best soap for sensitive skin?

I have extremely sensitive skin and when I cut myself up, I get pretty raw. (I.E. - My sensitive skin gets cut up easier, and I do it often.)

I know it's not completely my technique because I'm getting pretty good in the less sensitive spots of my face.

I currently use the Williams Mug Soap you can find in almost any grocery store.

Any suggestions for a higher quality soap that will help keep my face more hydrated and less irritated?

    Thanks,

    Michael

I don't have sensitive skin, but soaps from thegentlemansquarter.com ate reaaly good. They lubricate and hydrate very well.

Just as a side note, was your razor honed by a honemeister before you started using it?

    Yes! By Lynn himself.

    Could use a re-hone though.

If you did not damage your edge you probably just need to refresh the edge with either a pasted strop (diamond or CrO), or a barbers hone. The only time you should do honing again is if the edge was damaged.

Yep, damaged the edge. I have a post in here about it from awhile ago. Basically tapped the tip in the sink and dented (dinged? bent?) the edge. It was ok to shave with as long as I stayed away from the tip, but then I did it again and I think it needs it now before I shave again.

I have a sensitive skin, and I recommend TGQ. Most of my soaps are made by Colleen.

Fragrance Free Kiss My Face Cream in the 11 ounce pump is excellent and very mild on your face. At less than $5 a very good deal. My favorite is Vanilla Earth and should be mild also. Kiss My Face Frangrance Free Moisture Shave -- 11 fl oz - Vitacost
