Thanked: 0check out marshalls. they had a floris cake soap with wooden bowl for $5.99. i used it tonight and got one of the best ever shaves with my TI bison 6/8. gobs and gobs of lather. i am gonna scrounge around memphis, but if you guys find em, let me know. i like it better than my joris and i have about 3/4 of a cake soap of joris that i would trade for the floris. if trumpers is this good, i gotta try that

Thanked: 0kissmyface.com has some closeouts on old label shaving creams - a real bargin some of them. I have tried the following scents: Vanilla Earth, Key Lime, Marine, Unscented, Cool Mint, & Virgin Forest. The only one I didn't like was the Cool Mint. It had a mouth wash/medicine smell to it. I love the smell of the Virgin Forest as it reminds me of hunting camp. However the tree oils in the soap make my face break out. All the other's smell wonderful and they produce a thick creamy lather with a brush.
I also like the Williams as it's a good soap and at under $1 at Wal-mart it's hard to beat. I've been very tempted to try some of the various recipes out there to spice up the Williams, but I'm too lazy to do it. I have however, added a few drops of mineral oit to the soap before attacking it with the brush and it does add an extra kick to the lather.
I don't care for the Colgate soap. I don't like the smell and it also makes me break out a little.
