cheap tabac
Hey guys
not sure if this is in the right spot but I was searching the web trying to find a good sampler of soaps and cremes when I came across this.
Maurer & Wirtz
They have tabac cream for $6.46 and soap refill for $8.78
this is the lowest I have seen it new and unused so I thought I'd let you guys know since it says its a sale.
shipping is a little steep at $7-8 but if you already know and love tabac I'm sure its worth it in bulk.
one last thing I had trouble using thier checkout and had to use the google check out instead. Just a heads up incase you run into the same problem.
later fellas

Tabac is one of the gems of shaving. For the money, it is hard to beat its performance. Some people do not like Tabac because of the scent, a small price to pay for a great shave if you ask me. I find that the fragrance grows in you if you give it a chance anyway. It is already a must have in my book but could score even higher if it conditioned the skin a bit better. As for stocking up, one puck would last you a long time. I would experiment with other products instead. Probably this is not the right place for your post but you could ask a moderator to move the the soap forum.

Fragrancex.com (when they have it in stock) sell it for 7.99 and use "FREE" when you check out (I think that's the code...) you get free shipping. Worldwide.

Dang Jim you know where to get all the deals not to mention all the obscure soaps that are rarley if ever mentioned here. I almost tried learning german because of your shaveblog where you mentioned that valobra soft soap. I quickly gave up after finding westcoastshaving though Looking forward to your next great find.
I have never tried tabac so we shall see how it turns out.

I'm glad you like the blog! I used to suffer from SERIOUS SCAD and SSAD (they've toned down because I've tried pretty damn near everything I could get my hands on...Except Martin Candre and a couple of others that are way too expensive) so I scoured every place I could think of to find good deals; and I used to hang out at SMF a lot, those dudes are SERIOUSLY into some obscure soaps, so a little rubbed off on me. I've got nothing on some of those guys, though...talking about little barber shops in the back alleys of Rome where you can get shaves with their house soap made by blind nuns and stuff...
The Fragrancex thing is still amazing to me, how can they offer free shipping? Their emails keep saying "Only for Christmas!" or "Free shippig ending soon!" But it's been more than 9 months now...and I got another one yesterday.
Oh, and be sure to use the code JUST as I typed it..."FREE".

Thanked: 488Tabac is one of the best! I use that Arko shave sticks as well as Arko cream and La Toja as my staples. Cella is good also.
