For about 16$ you can get a sample pack of soap and creams from Colleen at www.thegentlemansquarter.com. Well worth the little money for getting a chance to check it out.

Sorry nun2sharp, but she no longer does the samples as a pack, you have to purchase each sample individually. It's still cheap (2.25 for a soap, 1.98 for a cream), but you can pick and mix what you want if you want more than the old package of 5 soaps, 2 creams.

If I did my math right, thats not much difference, still a good deal, and your mix of soaps dont have to be a set number, if you wish to sample just a few.

You could just get people to send you some shavings or a small piece of their cake. Those things are so cheap anyway. I'm sure most of us wouldn't mind parting with a small portion of the stuff and a plastic baggie. Postage OTOH, but it seems like your willing to cover that. Plus, theres a lot less incentive for someone to pinch something out of the PIF box. Since it'd be pretty much useless other than to have some nice smells.

If you would like, I can talk to Mike at Asheville Pizza over on Coxe for a place to meet. They have plenty of room.

15 Aug. is not a day I can meet, nor 18 Sept.

I think the background aroma of pepperoni may throw off your soap sniffing experience!

Wouldn't it just be better to taunt each other with each others soaps, so that you all buy all of them? That's how we do it up here in the Boston suburbs.

That's pretty much the only reason I bother to write up reviews: to get other members to also go out and spend ridiculous amounts of money on stuff their wives are going to yell at them about.

Although I think Loudee leads that game against me by about 4:1.

People are so much friendlier in other parts of the USA. Makes a born-and-raised Bostonian such as myself quite uneasy....
