Proraso/C.O. Bigelow
Hello. I wandered into Bath and Body Works--with my wife mind you, not on my own--and I purchased a travel tube of the C.O. Bigelow shaving creme which I believe is merely the Proraso Shaving creme re-packaged. I came right back to my brother's home (I am visitng in a city where they have good stores) and tried it. It seemed to lather-up just fine. The menthol ingredient really made my face feel good.
I am looking forward to shaving with it tomorrow morning.

yep it is well known here that it is Proraso.
Works well and having B&BW carry it is nice as Proraso is not that easy to find by me.
Its in my regular rotation of creams.

Bigelow is packaged by Proraso. They differ in one or two ingredients.
It is not a crime to wonder into BBW alone. As long as you stick the men's section your ok. Check out The Body Shop, they have good products, so does Origins and Aveda. Man up.

I'd like to buy some more of that. I bought and used up an entire tube. I thought it was a great shave cream.

Decent Shave
Well, I used the C.O Bigelow creme this morning and it was a better shave than my Wal-Mart soap. I began with Williams and moved to...what is it called...Van Hus...something.
This creme is a step-up for sure. Being in s small town, I do not have a lot of options, and it is difficult for me to buy a $5 Col. Conk's puck and pay nearly that in shipping. However, I made it to a larger town and traded up. it is nice.

Proraso/C.O. Bigelow
Gentlemen,
Fortunately a Bath and Body Works store is tucked in a charming town center less than a mile from my little castle. I visit the store whenever I can, with or without my wife, and march directly to the men's section. The store carries C.O. Bigelow.
I came across this product some years ago, and liked it. Since then I have used it from time to time. I, too, think this is Proraso in different clothing. If differences exist between the two products, they are minimal.
Good stuff.
Regards,
Obie

Thanked: 2591My first cream was Musgo Real, then I go C.O Bigelow, it definitely is better, makes richer lather, can take more water too.

Thanked: 21I did go to a different BBW today and found it. They only had it in travel sized containers (1.7 oz. I think) for $5. Decided to pass. I'll try it out when they get the larger tubes in stock.
