    My vote goes to cream's!

I have used many soaps and I still have not found one that can compare to the slickness of any creams!

Cream, all the way. I've given soap a fair try, & i far prefer creams. My skin likes them far better too.

Yes, I use my old KA-Bar to pray it out of the tub, and transfer the soap to my shave mug.

I voted soap because I have way more soaps than creams and use them more often then not. I like creams in a cream/soap uberlather. The only cream of those I've tried that I like without putting soap in the mix is Castle Forbes. Of course I've not tried all that many creams.

Zib: Here is a picture where you see the bottom of the mug.

    Super lather ftw.
I am working on my superlather technique.
    Second I like is cream,
least favorite soap, but that's only because I have not had much time to figure out how to lather properly.

    Default Cream or Soap?

    Gentlemen,

I use both cream and soap. Why? Because I like both. Top of the line, too. For that reason, I try not to create a barrier between soap and cream. I go with my mood and use one or the other. That seems to be one way of keeping myself happy.

    Regards,

    Obie

In general I prefer soaps. That's the classic way to do it. However there is one exception for me and that's Castle Forbes. I think its the best shaving prep in the Universe.
