    Stefan, I'm sorry, I wasn't making fun of you. It just honestly struck me as funny...Conk doesn't make anything, as far as I know, they just contract everything out. Their brushes are Tweezewrman, their soap is VDH, etc.

    I appreciate the comment. I too think that Castle Forbes is outstanding. I just tried it because as a newbie I am trying new things for the fun of it. The result was different than either cream. I found it to lather more easily than CF alone, just because my lather technique is still developing. With CF alone, sometimes I find myself chasing a small, smooth, slick "wedge" of cream along the bottom of my shaving bowl while trying to incorporate it into my lather. The mix did not do this. As I get better, I may find CF more accommodating...
