Prairie Creations Arrived Today !
I read on the forum about a vendor out west selling tallow based soaps.
In addition to all the wonderful things str8 related to become addicted to, Soaps and Creams have become my weakness. My girlfriend thinks there is something wrong with me. Why does anyone need over 60 soaps/creams?
Well, because they're out there, waiting for me to sample them. Most are great, and I don't want to give them up. I always thought if I didn't like it. I could give it away on the forum. I haven't come across that situation yet. Truefitt and Hill, Great Stuff. Castle Forbes, Great, Art of Shaving, Great, TOBS, Great, Tabac, MWF, Mama Bear, etc...You get the point.
Now, enter Prairie Creations making tallow based soaps...What? Rose no less. This reminds me of the all elusive QED Wild Rose by Charles. Some of you have been around long enough to remember that one. It's legandary.
I thought for sure Don was hoarding some and tried to work him to no avail. Krissy makes tallow based shave soap in Rose. I also got Sandalwood/Teak and Strawberry, and Snozzberry. What can I say, I'm a Willy Wonka fan. The real one with Gene Wilder, not fake Wonka with Depp. Deep did to Wonka what Diana Ross did to Dorothy in The Wiz. Some things don't need updating.....
I also bought some of her Bath Soaps. I've been using Hand Made Goat's milk soap for years now. Good Stuff. I can't imagine how I ever lived with out it....I used the Rose shave soap today and it was everything I'd hoped it would be and more. You will not be disappointed if you buy it. I love SRD's Glycerin based soaps. I wouldn't give them up, They're great. If you want to try something with Tallow....Prairie Creations.....
My problem with formal reviews is the number system. I find it difficult to pigeon hole a soap or a cream. As I feel there's always room for a Soapvana which I haven't found yet. I'd give it a solid 9 in every aspect. We have assumed control !

I bought 4 tubs of soap and two bath bars. My shipping maxed out at 10.95 which is the flat rate priority box. If your shipping ever goes higher than that when you order, send her an email, and she'll adjust it for you. This soap is a keeper. It's in my top 3 soaps too...I have to say, for home made type soaps, This is one of the best Tallow soaps I've come across, and SRD is one of the best Glycerin based soaps.
