It's a hard call. Geo F. Trumper's Rose Has a Great smell, But SRD Bulgarian Rose Otto has such a smooth Lather. But it really doesn't matter to me Because I'm a Proraso cream guy.
Soap- Any Rose Whiff will do
Cream- Proaso Cream.- a must have for me

For the soap I would chose TGQ desert ironwood. Right now I would chose JW Morrison for the cream.

Thanked: 13246Counting my soaps and creams in my head right now !!!
I think I have about 30 different soaps
probably about the same or more in creams...
So it isn't easy to narrow it all down
Still tops and reigning champs
Mitchell's Wool Fat = it still shaves better then any other soap...
Castle Forbes = By far still the best lather...
Notable newbies:
SRD Soaps
Prairie Creation Tallow soap
Al_Raz's Da Bomb
CarrieM's creams
Notable oldies:
Tabac (soap & cream)
Velobra (almond)
Ogallala
KMF
C&E Sweet Almond oil cream (if you can find it)
The Body Shop shave cream (old formula if you can find it)
Musgo Real

Soap Winner: Fitjar Fjellheim
Soap Runner-Up: Kell's Arabian Spice
Cream Winner: TOBS Eton College
Cream Runner-Up: TSD Mojito
Going by scent along, TSD Mojito would win creams, but I think the TOBS lathers much better.

I only have one cream: Speick. Piece of cake. Lathers like a champ.
Now soap... errr.. ummm....

I think I'll go with L'Occitane. Ask me again tomorrow and I'll have a different answer.
Ask me my least favorite soap and I'll say MWF. Now where's the gallows?

NO!! I will not answer
OK the cream is easy I don't use cream I have a couple but never use them only when I test shave razors and need a quick lather. So I don't have a real opinion
Now soaps (why do you hate me, making me choose one)
Ogallala Bayrum lime pepercorn

Cream - A toss up between C&E SAO or J.M. Fraser's. Fraser's is friggin' magic and one of the best values in wetshaving, IMO.
Soap - D.R. Harris Arlington.
