Thread: How do you use glycerin?

Glycerine is glycerine; it is the same whether it is animal or vegatable in origin.

I use a glycerine soap by Proraso and wash my face with it before shaving.

Great! Don't use too much of it since it tends to liquify the mix...just five drops will do ya!

I've never used glycerin, but considering my recent lessons in lathering (i wasn't using enough water) I wonder if people use glycerin to make up for an insufficient soap/water ratio? perhaps unconsciously? I'm just curious.
