    Default Almond?

So it's been a while since I've posted, exams and such before the holidays. But now I've got small break before finals and would like to ask: What is your favorite almond scented soap/cream and why? I've been wanting something with this flavor but would rather not have to buy everything with an almond scent I can find thanks guys!

I've only used two almond soaps, D.R Harris and Valobra, between those the Harris is the best, and it's tallow based. I've heard good things about P160 and Cella so I'm tempted to get one of those when my Harris runs out.

I got one of the Col Conk almond soaps and like it fairly well. It has a nice smell that is not overpowering. It also does a good job of lubing my face. The puck cost me under $5 as I recall. All in All I would say this is a good value.

There's many almond scented soaps and creams on the market, each with their own distinctive interpretation of almond scent. I always go back to my trusted Geo F Trumper almond cream followed by Valobra soft soap.

My first almond-scented soap was Cella and that is still my favorite. I also have an almond-scented soap from Prairie Creations and although that soap is excellent (actually, my favorite soap, performance-wise) the almond scent is not as nice. Seems more like a candy scent. This *might* be because I was conditioned by the prior exposure to Cella, but I think I would prefer Cella's scent either way.

The Cella and P160 are top-rate IMO.

Mine is the one C&E use to make "sweet almond". Awhile ago I brought some TOBS almond cream thinking it would be the same. But I was wrong its scent was very synthetic. It pretty much smells like medicine to me. I have also had a whiff of the D.R. Harris almond soap and that has a much more pleasant scent. I also find the Col. Conk Almond to have a synthetic/medicine smell too.

Although there are several good ones I prefer Cella and P160 above any other.

I like Trumpers and Harris. trumpers is a sweet almond and harris is a drier version. Both are very good however.
