Yeah, I duno about food scents either honestly...might end up making me too hungry hehe

One of my favorite fall scents can never be reproduced. Up in the small town in W. PA. that I'm from, when things start to get cooler in the evenings, and the leaves are changing color and falling off the trees, and you can smell a light touch of someone's fireplace going...*sigh*

Like I said...some things will never be able to be reproduced...oh well, guess I'll have to enjoy THAT smell one season a year

+1 I know what you mean Avatar, only I grew up with it in N.E. PA and now occasionally am lucky enough to catch a whiff of it now and then on fall motorcycle rides in the rolling hills of N. VA. It's one of those scents that has the magical power to bring life into focus - especially when combined with that cool, exhilarating nip in the fall air.

I'm jealous...I've wanted a bike for quite a while, but my mother STILL tells me that I'm not allowed (and I'm 33 )

Maybe someday I will have to defy her, and get one to ride once in a while anyway

Always wanted to experience that....and I can imagine the smells WHILE on the bike are even more sweet

So I just yelled at Carrie about not telling me about these creams and placed an order for the Blk raz vanilla and Frost scents, I'll be testing them both in a couple weeks.

Has anyone here tried all the scents?

Joe what scents do you prefer? Which cream/soap are they similar to ( if at all )? Feedback is greatly appreciated.

Jees, that a tough one Ivan. I haven't tried all of her scents yet. She hasn't made shave cream out of all of them yet. What she has made I have tried and I don't recall any scents I don't like. Carrie is still perfecting her shave soaps so I test them also but they still need a little tweaking. The problem is that they need to age for around 6 weeks before using so it is slow going. There are different ways to make the shave soap that are faster but it the quality is different.

What scents do I like best? That's a hard one, like which razor is your favorite. I try to pick the scent to match my mood and the weather. Hot sticky days I like Lime. Power days I like Bay Rum. Relaxing days I like lavender or lilac. I try to rotate through them so some days I just go on a whim. Black Raspberry Vanilla is a really good change of pace. Some days I just feel classic and go with sandelwood or oak moss. Carrie's newest scents are Bamboo/teak and Dragon's Blood which are a really nice change of pace.
Her menthol is to die for. Her orange is a very fresh scent. I can't remember which scents she hasn't used yet but there are a lot, like Ocean breeze or something like that. She still has to find time to experiment with combining scents which will male choosing a favorite even more challenging so I don't even go there.

As with most manufacturers the recipe is basically the same. Some fragrances cause the creams to change so they are modified a little. In the end the scent is a personal preference and hard to recommend.

It would be best of you PMed Carrie and let her know what you like from your experiences. Start with a scent you know you like and ask for a few samples of scents that vary off that. Carrie will be able to make suggestions. Be patient and you will not get scents you don't like. Before you know it you can have a vast selection of scents you really like.

    Good luck!

Thanks Joe! Looking at the list she provided I went with Bayrum, Frost, and Black Raspberry Vanilla. I asked for few samplers as well as I'm really intrigued how this Dragon's Blood scent is.
