    Default "The Bomb" Experience

Received The Bomb in regular (not dense) yesterday.

I used it this morning and here is my feedback.

    1. Loved the scent. I don't have any Bay Rum in my arsenal, so it was a welcome fragrance. I am not a Bay Rum expert, so I can't really tell you it is better that X or worse than X, but I liked the smell.

    2. I found it very easy to whip up a great lather. I use a home made scuttle and after heating the top bowl up, I just left whatever residual water in after pouring out the heat up water. I also soaked my brush while taking my shower and shook out of most of it. What water was left was enough to create a very thick, creamy lather - loved it.

    3. You need surprisingly less of The Bomb than the other creams I have tried - TOBS and CO Bigelow. That makes it a more economical product. After whipping up my lather, I found most of the small dollop I placed in my scuttle still in the bottom. I placed that chunk back in my jar for tomorrow.

    4. The shave was excellent. Smooth, lots of lubrication. Just a joy to shave this morning.

    5. Transaction was very smooth. Al accepts paypal, so it could not be easier to buy.

    6. Here is the cool part. This product is made to order and each batch is personally tested by Al himself. Now that is quality control.

In general, I would buy The Bomb again.

Thanks Al for your investment in your fellow shavers faces.

    David

Come next pay, Al's on the top of my list... At the very least a Tangier, if not Palermo or Calypso (Respectively, Tangerine, Sage and Bay Rum)

I'm amazed how much lather comes from so little cream.

3 thumbs and a foot WAY up!

I have Lime, but he sent me samples of Sage, and Tangerine. The Tangerine rocks, If I buy again, which I will. The stuff is awesome, I'll buy Tangerine. To my surprise, The Sage was awesome too. At first, I thought Sage? but Al makes is work well.
Also, this stuff actually improves with age, no kidding. The lather is off the hook, I think it's the best out there considering value, and it really delivers...

I have so many soaps and creams, It can take me two months or more to get to the bomb...

I am trying to downsize, but I clearly have a problem.
    We have assumed control !

How's the Soca smell (Lime)? How well do you like it compared to the Tangier and Sage?

It's more subdued at first, but really opens up when you whip it up. You'll like it....

Well, I'm trying to pick two from Soca, Tangier and Palermo (Lime, Tangerine and Sage, respectively)... Leaning towards Tangier and Palermo (Tangerine and Sage
