Thread: keep lid on or off?

I rotate through about 8 soaps so once I finish shaving I leave the lid off for maybe 45 minutes or so, so it dries and then the lids go back on. I find without lids the scent slowly decreases over time and dirt gets into the soap.
If you use glycerin based soaps you have to be more careful since the water will dissolve them. The milled soaps are much more resistant to that.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Thanked: 44Lid
I put the lid on after I clean everything up. There's usually still a little lather / paste on top. The lid keeps the soap damp, and makes it easier to load the brush the next morning. Leaving it damp hasn't grown anything yet... Does mold even grow on soap ?
