i love MWF but i keep going back to tabac, i just cant go a week without it. id say MWF is a close second.
Trumpers Coconut Oil soap.
Smell is ideal, TONS of latherability, and super-moisturizing.

So far, MWF is my fave. Love the scent and the way my face feels after a shave - the lanolin really makes a difference. I recently bought Mühle Sea Buckthorn, but keep coming back to MWF.
The answer is the same as girlfriends. I love the one
I am with....
Now my first was Williams, like my first kiss there
will always be a fond memory....
I have five or six that I am dating at present.
Lately I have been shaving with Burt's Bees Bay Rum
enhanced with a half almond size of a shave cream
that is a pain to lather by itself. Together they
make a fine shave lather for me....
IMO Cella soft shave soap is the tops. Tallow and coconut oil based great slick, billows of easy to generate long lasting later and great bitter almond scent. It hits all the bases for me.
I have the throw in Ogalla Bay Rum and Sandalwood. It's been sitting in a Col Conk mug on my counter for a while. I started using it and I'm blown away by the lather I'm getting out of it with my Thater brush. Very thick whip cream like moisturizing lather right out of the mug. It needs no help....
Hard to pick a favorite.
For warm weather, I like the French triple milled soaps - light and "powdery," fresh scent.
For colder months, MWF and Tabac. I think MWF is great, but it just feels heavy, like I slathered some bacon fat on my face. Probably not far from the truth.
When i travel, Valobra stick. In fact it performs great, just not crazy about the scent. Same problem with cella.
AOS sandalwood - excellent tallow soap, and scent is great, but a classic example of in your face too much of a good thing, leaving you reeking of sandalwood like a whore in Mysore. Opposite philosophy from the subtle scents on English and French soaps.
Trumper's Rose and Coconut - I like these a lot, any time of the year.
Pen's EF Tallow 1st - tried it, not much better than the above, at least not for the price. Sold it. Should have kept it the way people have gone crazy about it now that it is gone.
DR Harris - mmm I guess you can say these are my current favorites. They perform great. The scents are nice but subtle, and work well with different aftershaves and EDT's.
Robin, when is Caraceni coming out with a soap?
It's good to have choices.
I haven't tried a lot of them but so far, I think Gentleman's Quarters is as good a soap as any I've used.
I like MWF, it is one of my favorites, tabac for the price can't be beat either. The scents are ok but not anthing to shout about. I would love to try trumpers rose, but not as easy to find.
I wish MWF had a rose scent or any other scent for that matter.
I think MWF does work better with a boar brush, but can get it to work with any if I hold the bristles. Tabac will lather easier with any brush.
Those are my thoughts.
