I tried the soap for the first time ( Dragon's Blood scent) and it's quite nice. Smells decent, I might have to get used to the smell a bit. And lathers GREAT. It doens't dry out or dry up, and makes the shave wonderfull and smooth. So I'll keep that one on the go.

Thanked: 20No-one cuts it with me honey... The soap is awesome, the lather is to die for... you don't need before and after things to mix into it and there are 43 different fragrances to choose from, and still counting... The travel jar makes it lovely to toss into a brief case and you get to choose every day what you are in the mood for... Today, energy, tomorrow, sexy and the day after.... power or even flower... You can have it all.....
I like keeping my gents happy....smiling and smelling great!
Hugs,

Mayan Gold
Tried Mayan Gold soap today. Very nice stuff. I was able to whip it up into a very nice lather. Not sure if this one actually whipped up better than the other flavor's that I've tried so far, or if I just had a great day for making lather, but it was perfect consistancy. This soap is a little less fragrant than the other ones. The scent reminds me of subtle tropical fruit, but in a masculine way. The only thing that kind of weirds me out is the name. Many years ago, before entering the military and transforming into a republican, the term 'Mayan Gold' used to have a much different meaning! I won't go into detail, but if anyone watched the show The Office this week, you know what I'm talking about .
Anywho, I'd definately recommend this soap to anyone. Specifically if they are sensitive to strong scents.

Somali Rose
Today, I tried Somali Rose. The only similar soap/cream that I've tried is the Trumpers Rose cream sample. I like this scent a lot. I thought it would be a little fruity, but it's not. Mama Bear's Somali Rose isn't as strongly scented as the Trumpers cream, but the shave is identical. Here's another soap that I recommend! I have one more to try, but because I shaved so late in the day, it won't be until later in the week! After this, I will have 5 soaps down and 38 to go!

Thanked: 20I have short pours available.... Sometimes the last of each batch does not fill an entire mold. If anyone is interested I have Drakkar, Armani Black Code, Butterscotch Vanilla, Dragons blood, Pearberry and Tahitian Vanilla... Some are bigger than others, but all are available for $5/each post paid. Let me know if anyone is interested in the short pours, I normally give them to family and friends but have more than I know what to do with right now.... Please contact me off list if interested... [email protected]
Thanks,
Mama Bear
Update: Black Code and Pearberry went so fast my head is still spinning... still have the other 4........

I really would like to try two different scents of her soap, but the shipping and handling is almost as much as the soap itself, $4.10 each for shipping...thats just seems a bit high.

BTW-I have recently tried yet another of her soaps, Clover Leaf w/Tangerine. Kind of an usual combo, but it was very nice. I don't think the scent was too strong, but I do have to say that it's allergy season in the upper midwest, so my sniffer could be off.

Thanked: 20shipping charges
Shipping charges are supposed to be $3.95 for the first soap and $1 for each additional soap. This seems to work out quite well regarding what I have to pay vs what I charge.
The shipping charges work perfectly on ebay. They do not work right on the website yet... I am still scratching my head and pulling my hair out trying to figure out why. Especially since I make more money on the website not having to pay ebay fees..... I WILL make this work, I swear it. Meanwhile I have added the soap that JLStorm wanted to ebay so that he can buy both from the cheapest shipping place. There are a LOT more shaving soaps on the website www.bear-haven.com/page3.html but as before the shipping doesn't really work.
You can ALWAYS contact me off list and let me know what you want and I will just send you a pay pal request and avoid problems untill I fix the site....
Sorry for the hassels!!!

Mama Bear
