I got a puck of the Almond 1752 for christmas and just tried it for the first time today. I have to agree with many of these posts and say that it does not provide much cushion and it will disappear in your mug (or on your face).
However, I noticed that when rinsing afterwards I had to splash for quite a bit longer than my Tabac soap or C.O. Bigelow cream in order to get all of the slick, oily feeling off my skin.
Now I am determined to find out how to make this 1752 provide cushion and not pull a Houdini in between passes since it provides such good glide.

Thanked: 1195I've never used it myself, only heard the negative reviews. I'd start by loading your brush twice as long as you would any other product, literally saturating it. Then add water slowly while making your lather until something resembling whipped cream appears. You can try adding glycerin too. If this doesn't work after a couple tries, toss it or use it for uberlather.
