Thanked: 1195TGQ is not my favorite soap, but I do like Colleen's version of sandalwood. Very different from, say, TOBS, which smells more of cinnamon to my nose although I like it very much as well.

Yeah for sure, I thought ("$70 bucks for a smallllll bottle of oil?"), but when I realized how long one spritz lasted and the smell of it.. such a true smell, I figured.. people pay that much for a regular bottle of synthetic cologne that lasts half a day. Hopefully the price will go down and all of us will be smelling of fresh lemon, lavender, or that precious sandalwood! But when my two bottles of cologne run out, I will be getting an AOS cologne!

Trumpers for me. I have the cream, soap and skin food in sandalwood and I really like them all. They're products that I always replace when they run out..!

Went through a bit of a sandalwood craze a while back. My synopsis:
Trumpers soap - like Stubear I love the stuff, good lather and great aroma. Love the skin food too - great all round, though yet to try cream...
Castle Forbes - good lather, not sure about the aroma. Jury's out on this one as it's pretty expensive. Probably wouldn't replace once gone.
Truefitt & Hill - not bad, like the CF, I'm not sure I would replace my tub when it disappears.
Best Sandalwood cologne IMO is Tam Dao, but this stuff is expensive and doesn't have fantastic staying power.
Hope this helps.

Have Tried Trumpers, TOBS, and AOS
For me it is AOS soap hands down. Some of the best lather and a great sandalwood scent.
