I find it strange to hear all of the shaving products that are available in general stores/pharmacies in the states.
Forget about Proraso over here...you'd have to order that.
Forget about DE blade...no way you're just going to find that in every city.
TOTALLY forget about boar or badger brushes...they don't sell those anywhere.
I had to buy most of my stuff via the internet.
They do have some hard soaps.....but not very good ones...they dry up really quick and that makes for an annoying shave I think.

Maybe I SHOULD move to the states afterall?:P I was born in Provo...so immigration shouldn't give me much hassle.

Thanks....Don't think my future missus will thank me for that though, most of her family lives in Germany....and ALL of my mom's side of the fam lives in the Netherlands....and I like it here... I just wish some things were more readily available.

Nope, you are fine there... Just go to your lokal pharmacy, or some better equipped shoping mall, and get Tabac shaving soap. That way, you have better product than Proraso, Williams, Burma something, all combined

You can also search for Haslinger and Speick...

    Nenad,
in Skopje, Macedonia, where all you can find is ARKO soap...

I gave a friend of mine some Tabac shaving soap a while ago. He said it dries out pretty quickly...but then again he might be doing something wrong...

I agree. I keep a puck in the bathroom drawer in case of emergency.
