I have both, Cella Crema Sapone is obviously an Italian classic, and MWF is as English as mustard and tea.
I without doubt prefer Cella. It gives rise to an awesome lather and is a favourite - in fact I shall use it tonight, having not used it in a while. Cella provides rich, lasting lather that generates effortlessly. It is very cheap and its texture is between a cream and a soap and moulds into any container. It has an almondy kind of scent that is neither too strong nor weak.
MWF on the other hand is as solid as a rock and too lasts ages, no issues as with longevity of a puck. It has a gentle soapy scent that many do not, albeit I do, notice; that is a blend of cloves and lavender.
Used by itself I'm not overwhelmed by the lather it produces, but I mix it with creams that do not perform so well alone, such as AOS.
I'm rambing, sorry! They are both great but I prefer Cella without a doubt. Both are excellent in the moisture department also.

Robert,
You chose wisely by getting both
They are like Tabac - soaps that every shaver should try at least once !
MWF is available under two 'flags' :
1) Mitchells Wool Fat Shaving Soap
2) Kent Shaving Soap
I have had both, and they are one and the same.
Have fun !
Best regards

Cella update
I received the Cella yesterday and tried it this AM (I did post my experience in the SOTD today)...I loved it. I have not received the MWF yet, so jury's still out for me, but I get the feeling that both the Cella and MWF will end up in a tie for me too...this is also evident in the distribution of the votes for these products.
However, I didn't care much for the scent, but performance-wise it was an awesome creme (it's actually a hard creme...more like soap). I fixed the scent issue by adding a micro drop of Lavender EO to the bowl and Taaddaaaa...problem solved. Very thick and moist lather that smelled great.
So,
The Cella camp: You were right...this is one awesome creme.
The MWF camp: Stay tuned for updates when I get it (it's coming from Wingham Wool Works in the UK)
I'd like to thank all of you for your votes and comments...very helpful .
I also tried for the first time mixing the D.R. Harris Arlington AS Milk with a couple of drops of Alt Innsbruck cologne. I am not a fan of alcohol AS, but boy, after an initial sting, my face really started to feel moisturized and calm as a result of the AS Milk...these two products are definitely keepers guys ...Now, I understand the hype about them.

Robert,
How did you go about lathering the Cella. Since it is a soap, but apparently has a cream texture, how do you lather it? Do you go about it the same way as a soap.....loading the brush and then transferring to scuttle or face? Or do you do it like a cream, dabbing the bristles and then transferring to the scuttle or face?
I plan on ordering some Cella this week based on this thread, but was just curious if this should be treated like any other soap?
Thanks!
